I realized finally why I was so nervous last night about going to the fundraiser for Governor Carnahan: I felt intimidated by all the rich folks and was worried that they would only see me as common Missouri white trash. In response to these internal intimidation issues of mine, I proceeded nervously to end up acting more white trash than ever and suddenly grew a hillbilly twang in my speaking. So much for trying to blend in..........
